“Coral Planting”

Mr. Shinji Sasaki (the 2nd from the left), Vice Chairman of Mitsubishi Electric Thai Foundation with the cooperation of Sattahip Naval Base organized the “coral planting” activity at Nang Rong beach in Sattahip district of Chonburi province. Together with local communities, executives and staffs of Mitsubishi Electric Group in Thailand, over 500 volunteers. The main objective of this activity is to cultivate the environmental responsibilities and nature resources conservation habits among employees and Thai people. Moreover, this is to sustainably restore fertility to the damaged coral reef and marine ecosystem. Coral planting is one of many projects in which Mitsubishi Electric Group have conducted with the aim to make lasting social contributions as a leading green company. And to be in compliance with our corporate statement of growing the business to create the “Changes for the Better”.
